LOAD BASED TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPED BY DOBECK PERFORMANCE
We at Dobeck Performance are asked by a number of customers to explain the difference between the Dynojet Power Commander and our Dobeck EFI controllers. We supply our short description in a manner that everyone should be able to understand. The difference is the use of the TPS signal by Dynojet and the calculated load value by us. Apparently we have now been given the label of being 'magicians' and in fact 'guess' at how we fuel a vehicle. A quick history lesson for those of you that might not know is that Mark Dobeck, owner of Dobeck Performance, was the founder of Dynojet and sold the company in the late 90's. Bill Kirkpatrick, head engineer of Dobeck Performance, was with Mark at Dynojet. And guess what? Bill took part in the original design of the Power Commander!! Needless to say, we know exactly how the Power Commander functions. We know its good points and we know its weak points. Apparently the people at Dynojet really don't have a clue how our EFI controller functions so they just assume we make magic. Check out the Dynojet statement and then watch the YouTube video below.
