Dobeck Performance Receives Patent Approval for "Radically New Dynamometer"

Dobeck Performance has announced that it has received patent approval for the AXIS Dyno, an entirely new dynamometer to hit the market. DP's head engineer, Bill Kirkpatrick describes the AXIS as, "a radically new dynamometer." Features that set the AXIS apart from existing Dynos include:

1. Load Measurement
2. Wind Drag Consideration
3. Road Load Replication

These controllers were developed with GEN 3.5 technology and feature the standard six on-board adjustable modes of cruise fuel, acceleration fuel, full throttle fuel, and three switch point modes to control where the fueling engages.

DP's technology can integrate with any 0 to 5 volt signal as a stand-alone controller or can be combined with a DP fuel controller.

Two basic voltage controls are to OFFSET the voltage up and down or CLAMP the voltage at a specified level. These methods can be used in tuning to indirectly get the fueling and/or timing result you want. Voltage control packages start at just $100.

CLAMP Voltage Control - Limits the voltage from rising above a certain voltage.
OFFSET Voltage Control - Adds or subtracts voltage from an input to change the output.
